Vacuum Pumps and Generators
Liquid ring pumps are particularly suitable for machining with coolant, as they combine a vacuum pump and liquid separator.
Dry-running, vane-type rotating pumps can be used for wet machining, if you also have a liquid separator. They are very low maintenance as they do not require lubrication.
Oil-lubricated, vane-type rotating pumps provide very high vacuum. The main application of these pumps is the dry cutting.
Side channel blowers offer very high suction at relatively low pressure. These pumps are recommended when you have leakage or large work surfaces.
Air powered vacuum generators may offer a price advantage. However, they are not recommended for high intensity or extensive work.
